ANNOUNCEMENT #1 Dan, my webmaster, just gave me this page so I can communicate directly with you regarding what is new with the Volante program. I know you are trying to keep up with the program and I'm planning to be more attentive to you future builders than I have in the past, but I get so wrapped up in what I am doing that time slips by. If I don't post something new in a 2 month period send me an email telling me to get with it and I'll come back to earth.

As for the driving, it is going well, although 10 days in the hospital and a 2 month recovery period (not due to the Volante!) has held it up a bit. I still need to do the freeway trip alongside a 18 wheeler to be sure it isn't affected too much by the bow wave those things create. Then next it will be back to El Mirage to finish up the 40 hours that the FAA requires and to finish high speed driving.

I've finally got a new paper out that says that the flying car can revitalize and revolutionize the sagging low end of the aviation spectrum that EAA and AOPA are so concerned about and eventually bring flying into the lives of people to make it as common as driving is today. It's fairly long but you can just skim it rapidly in a few minutes.
